Case w/ LCD and Keypad

I need a plastic case with a window for an LCD display and a 12 or
preferably 16 key keypad.
This is for a diagnostic add-on for another stamp based project, the
original project allows the user to check the status of the various inputs
and outputs simply by connecting it to a laptops serial port. But we have
had requests for a handheld "diagnostic box" as an alternative.
The "diagnostic box" software would be quite simple, what comes in serially
would be sent to the LCD, and each keypress would be sent out serially.
Simple menu press 1 to monitor input #1 2 for input #2 etc. The purpose is
to allow checking for defective sensors etc.
Does anyone out there know of a manufacturer of such, or a place that does
custom cases?
Alternatly is there an inexpensive palmtop that could run a simple comm
program and has a serial port?
