Hello all,

Could someone please help me in the right direction? I would like to learn
Programming ( Visual basic, C++, and Assembly Language ) for projects of mine. I
don't want to go to school just for a hobby. Maybe there are books out there
that can help.

thanks
AC

I've found books such as "Teach Yourself C++ in 21 days", "Teach Yourself
Visual Basic", etc. very useful. SAMS publishing is the place to get them
    from.

Although, I use "RealBasic" these days, which is a Macintosh version of
Visual Basic (can compile Windows versions of your software at the same time
    as well).

Do a search on www.google.com for visual basic tutorial. There are enough
links to keep you busy for a while. Also check Reynolds Electronics for
their great tutorial on how to communicate with the Stamp.

Are there any vocational schools near you that you might seek classes
from? These are non degree classes.
