Hi Stampers,

is there any chance to generate a RS 485 Signal from a stamp?
And by the way, is it true that RS 485 is the same as DMX that is used to
control light-computers?

Thanx for Help, Uli

You can use chips like the LTC485 or SN7516 to do RS-485 with the Stamp. For
a good reference, get Jan Axelson's book, "Serial Port Complete."

yes dmx is rs 485 based, do a google search and you should be able to find
the format and baud rate, I looked into it a while back and haven't had time
    to do anything with it.
