SED1330 Graphic LCD
Archiver

hello,
I've been looking for a large graphic lcd display that can easily be controlled
by a stamp. I've enjoyed using Seetron's 128x64 serial display but need
something larger. The SED1330 controller seems to be very common in larger
256x128 and 320x240 displays, has anyone interfaced this controller with a
stamp? I've also seen a serial LCD controller that works with the SED1330, has
anyone here used this before?

Any advice would be apprecitated, Thanks!
Stewart

I did a quick Google search, and came across this:
http://www.compsys1.com/workbench/Benchware/SED1330/sed1330.html
The main code can be found at:
ftp://207.73.33.32/pub/PBP_Files/sed1330/glsedemo.bas
It's written in a language similar to PBASIC, but not identical. This along
with a datasheet or two would probably be enough to let you get it doing
basic stuff, but you'd have to have a look yourself.
Good luck,
Michael
I used that controller, very easy to use, you only need to send serout
commands to the controller, i used it to interface a 320x200 SED1330
LCD display to do a temperature histogram, please check some pics on my
