Modem Chip (~off topic)

Hi all,

Its a bit off topic but i hope someone can give me usefull
information here.

I am looking for Modem-on-a-chip. I have found one from Cermetek
CH1786. Are there other alternatives to this modem ??

Any advice would be great.
