project work

Hi,

I have a small requirement for an RS485 network with about 7-10 nodes.
Controlled from a PC each node can have a BS2. I want to be able to
address each node and put out a 4 bit BCD code to control other
devices. Is anyone interested in taking this up as a project? please
let me know. I am not much into programming but I can build all the
hardware.

thanks in advance.
subhash.

I have tried to attach a zipped file to this message, is there a reason why
it is not being attached when it goes to the group?? Does anyone know? I
have tried it 2 times and still nothing. I know I can do it, I have tested
    it to another address.

It is probably being filtered off, but some people only have slow
connections so its not really fair to force them to wait while downloading
an attachment. You can upload files to another area of the group and people
can then download them if they wish. Have a look around yahoogroups to see
how to go about uploading the file.

    Rgds,
    Chris

As protection against the transmission of viruses and trojans the list does
not pass nontext content, including typical HTML email. If the file is of
broad interest you can upload it to the list's file area on
YahooGroups. If it's probably of interest only to the one person I'd ask
him if he would like to receive a file of size XX KB directly, then send
directly to him if he does.
