DS1820 leads ( how long can they be? )

I would like to put the DS1820 on a ten foot cable. Where do I need the
cap? At the sensor end or at the input to the pins?

Thanks,

Mark

Yes, the DS1620 is great for accuracy without troublesome
calibration. I guess that 5' would be no problem at all. Be
absolutely sure to include a capacitor across the power supply
terminals right at the DS1620. (~3.3 uF) It is very sensitive to
power supply glitches.
