Hello All:

I am writing this e-mail because I have a problem, I'm hoping
somebody out their can help me with. I just came into possession of 2
Cincinnati Microwave MC-Dart 100 cdpd modems. I would like to try and
get them up & running, but I don't have any documentation. I am hoping
somebody out their would have documentation, or know where I can get
it. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to waste the bandwidth.

I'm not sure wahy you ar eup against, but I use a Spider CDPD modem in my
Laptop and I'll tell you what I know. The first thing is that to use CDPD,
you have to get an account wiht ATT wireless, or Bell Atlantic or another
regional carrier that offers packet service to your area. Not that
nationally that the coverage areas are spotty. They will assign an IP number
based on the EID that your modems have. (this is like the unique hardware
number used with cell-phones). With your modems, I would assume that you
have some software that allows you to set them up. I hope this helps.

Do a search at www.google.com for "MC-Dart 100" and see if any of the
    results help.
