    Hi Travis,

Is it a closed track that you can put a IR sensor across so when a
car passes it breaks the signal ?

or maybe a single car lane wide so you can put a light sensor in the
bottom looking up and again a passing car will change the value.
This is what they do for paint balls (and rifle bullets) to test
    speed.

There was a thread here some 6 months ago on such a device.

    hi,
i am working on a gasoline sensor project. i have used a gas sensor
and callibrated the values in ppm i.e for eg. 1v give 100ppm, 1.6v
give 500ppm ,3v give 1000ppm and so on. i plotted these point in a
excel sheet and got a graph that passes through all the points. now i
have to display the ppm values on an LCD . i want to use a
microcontroller to fit the graph in it. i do not have an idea how to
do it.. can anyone help me..
    thank you

Ok the file is called sensor if someone has a few minutes. The sensor only has
three wires. Power, ground and communication. It is not the one wire protocal.
Any help with this thing would be appreciated.
