I need to run a BS2 at 57600,8,n,1 noninverted through a line
driver is this possible and what is the baudmode value I would
use?
thanks larry

The formula for the BS2 and BS2E is Int(1,000,000/baudrate) - 20
For 57600 baud you get -3 (!!!) so it cannot be done with a BS2.and BS2E.
The formula for the BS2SX and BS2P is Int(2,500,000/baudrate) - 20
For 57600 baud you get 23 so it is poosible with a BS2SX or BS2P.
but probably only for simple variables (no modifiers).

thinking of using the linx ES series reciever and transmitter, because of
the high data rate and range. The data out from the reciever from what i
understand is 5 volts at logic high, does this mean i need to use an RS-232
reciever to adjust the signal before sending it to the BS2p SIN pin?

RS-232. I am wondering if it is possible to interface an RS-232
peripheral to a stamp in this manner.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

unsing the SERIN command protocol on the stamp.

I have a bs2p. I want to connect it to a sensor that communicates via
RS-232. I am wondering if it is possible to interface an RS-232
peripheral to a stamp in this manner.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
