TO ACATANO2002:
Get a life. It looks like you are such a super-user, mega-expert, guru-man,
that you've never been there, done that - the guy's asking for help, so
relax a little, will ya? This is an open forum, with a topic, yes, but if we
are going to start flaming every off-topic help question or comment, we're
running into MB of email traffic....
TO AJ:
If you open Internet Explorer, choose 'Tools' -> 'Internet options', you'll
see a box with a title like "Temporary internet files", with a button that
reads "Delete temporary files" (or something similar, depending on Windows
version). Click on this button to empty all the temp folders, and thus the
virus. Make sure to empty the Recycling Bin, sometimes viruses hide there.
Last, make sure your antivirus is up-to-date, I personally check once or
twice a week, it only takes a minute to do.
Cheers,
Mike

May YOU are, but if the guy follows your advice and erases a
partially infected file or erases the wrong file, and his system
crashes, who is going to fix it?
