Parallax MemKey

Before I drop $40 bucks on something (I know, I'm cheap), I like to know more
about it. Does anyone have a link for some kind of manual for the Parallax
MemKey unit? I looked on their page, even used the search but could find
nothing.

I'm mostly interested in the programmability of the keys. Seems there is alot
of programmable features, but no documentation available online. Code examples
could show me about the programmable stuff, but I'd much rather have a manual to
look through before I buy anything.

    I tried a search on digikey.com mouser.com and alliedelec.com and couldn't
find 74922. Where do you normally get this part?

Try searching for 74C922 @ http://www.findchips.com These are fairly common.
Digi-Key, Jameco, and several more have plenty of them in stock.
