serout with parity

Hi,
Today I tested my new bs2p with the serout command. All worked well.
Going through the help of the new 1.3 edtor I noticed that the serout
command specified 7-bit data with no parity as an option.
Is this a misprint? I thought only 7-bit with even parity was an option.
