I have found a virus

Hello,
I wish this were a social call. I just received the following note
and found it to be true on my hard drive. I was able to delete it and I
hope you will too. Sorry for the inconvenience.
John
A mailing list that I am on sent me a message with a virus attached by
mistake.
I've copied these instructions for you to search your hard drive, just
in case I passed it on to you. When I did the search, I found the virus
was on my computer. This means that you probably will have it too
because you are in my address book, and that is how it travels. The
Norton Anti Virus did not detect it, so please check your computer. The
virus lies dormant for 14 days and then kills your hard drive.
Follow the instructions below to locate the virus. By following the
instructions, I was able to delete the virus. After you have checked
your computer, and if you find that you have the virus, you will need to
send a similar e-mail to everyone in your address book.
Here is what you do. Remove the virus by following these steps.
1. Go to "Start" then to "Find" or "Search" (depending on your
computer).
2. In the "Search for files folders" type sulfnbk.exe This is the
name of the virus.
3. In the "Look In" section, make sure you are searching Drive C.
4. Hit : "Search" or "Find".
5. If your search finds this file, it will have an ugly blackish icon
that will have the name: sulfnbke.exe DO NOT OPEN!! If it does not
show up on your first "Search" try a "New Search".
6. If you find the file, left click (once), go down to "DELETE".
7. You will be asked if you want to send this file to the Recycle
Bin. Say yes.
8. Go to your desktop where you find the Recycle Bin and either
manually delete the sulfnbke.exe program or empty the entire bin.
9. If you found the virus on your system, send this to all in your
address book, because that is how it is transferred.
Sorry for the trouble and my apologies for "unwittingly" infecting you,
if it has been passed on to you.
BTW, I am taking all addresses out of my address book. While this may
be an inconvenience, I hope that it will prevent this from happening
again.

hey I own stocks why didn't you warn me about the market falling?

good idea to hoard up on Parallax Stamps in case the US Dollar becomes
useless. Even if people don't need money, they'll always need Stamps, so
it's best to stockpile them now while they're cheap. The *last* thing
you'd want is to be reduced to buying your BOE kits from some kid
dealin' em on the street.
