Multi-channel ADC

I am looking to use a multi-channel ADC that has at least 2 input channels as I
want to monitor 2 different analog sensors. What would be good to use instead of
using 2 separate 0831's? Are there any other things to look out for when using
something like this?

For Hank

Try the TLC2543 from TI. 11 channel 12-bit. Easy to program. Price is
better than a 2- or 4- channel.

Hank,
The LTC-1298 is a 2 chan 12 bit A/D that would work. Microchip also
has an 8 chan 12 bit A/D thats a bit more complicated but both can be
easily used with a BS2 using the shiftin and shiftout instructions.
(See page 353 of v1.9 manual) or Stamp aplication #22 for a BS1 on
page 183.

The chips can be had a Digikey.com for a few bucks each.

Hope this helps,
Mark

[ a polite request to all - when replying to a message, please try to
edit out most of the "quoted" part of the message. This list seems to
have an inordinate amount of one-line messages followed by two hundred
lines of quoted text. Thanks.]

You could try the ADC0838, and 8-channel version of the 0831. There's
code for it in the archive, you can find it at:
