Stamp Modem Now Available!

The Stamp Modem Kit (29116 - $129) is an embedded Cermetek CH1786 2400 bps
modem. This AppMod plugs directly onto Parallax boards for easy and reliable
connections. With this modem you can send / receive data to a BASIC Stamp
from another modem. Try our dial-up temperature sensor demonstration with
your PC modem and terminal program (set your terminal program to 8-N-1 and
2400 bps, then dial (916) 624-5946). It's true you can get an external 2400
bps modem for a buck, but this one will save you hookup time, code
development and space.

The optional Stamp Modem Plus Pack (29117 - $8.50) provides a set of parts
used in the example programs. Includes:

o DS1620 Digital Thermometer
o Red and yellow LEDs
o (2) 470 ohm resistors and (1) 1K ohm
o 0.1 uF capacitor
