Sonar and Pets?

Does anyone know if the 40khz sonar ultrasonic sets will be tolerable by house
pets, namely a small puppy? I would like to use the Ultrasonic set sold by
Jameson which transmits at 4.0khz with a sound pressure level of 112db.

The ACGIH proposed Threshold Limit Value for ultrasound at 40KHz is 115
dB. There is no OSHA/NIOSH standard that I know of. I have no idea how
the pets will react, but I wouldn't have that thing in my home unless
you're talking an occasional ranging ping from a robot vs continuously on.
