Stepper Motor Driver
On the page
http://www.parallaxinc.com/html_files/products/BS_Accessories/little_s
tep_u.asp it talks about ULN2803A, a Darlington Array that can be
used to drive a stepper motor. The page gives sample source code but
no circuit. How do you hook a ULN2803A up to a stamp?
Thanks in advance,
Blake Benthall

See the Basic Stamp I Application Notes, downloadable from Parallax.
Note 6: A Serial Stepper Controller shows a clever circuit which uses a
ULN2003 and 4 resistors to control a stepper with only 2 stamp pins.
Hook up the 2803A in the same manner. I've used this circuit, and it
works well. A suggested modification is to use an extra driver in the
2803A to drive a relay to turn voltage to the motor on and off. Without
this, the circuit shown in the notes leaves the motor always on.
