I have found the pH probes to be pretty expensive. I tryed doing something
similar with plants in a hydroponics farm. But instead used the X10 firecracker.
no input though =0(

LCD's are cheap at www.eio.com
And temp probes are cheap too, all they are, are variable resistors.
