I am making a cruise control, and need an indication of temperature, to
provide an input to control the heater fan motor and an LCD readout for
a display. Simple is good. Two wire devices would be great! Any
suggestions on these two items?

thanks,

leroy

What does temperature and the heating fan have to do with cruise control?

I have an old truck that needs cruise control. I thought this might be
a good application for the stamp, as I can do more than just push a
button to set my speed. How about several programmable speeds that can
be selected by pushbutton. On the highway 68MPH, 38MPH in town, 22MPH
in front of the schools and so on. I figured if I was going to the
expense of doing all this, why not put a temperature sensor somewhere in
the cab and make an automatic climate control. Programmable
    temperatures? Sure!!

Last I need a simple display to interface with the driver and maybe even
some buttons on it for the programmable part. How about MPH, time and
temperature of inside & outside. The list goes on...

    thanks for the response,

    Leroy
