V1.2 Editor locking up - Response

Hi,

Some of you have reported experiencing "lock-up" problems with the BASIC
Stamp Editor v1.2. For some weeks, we were not able to duplicate the
problem here.

Last week, however, we found a way to duplicate this problem and have been
narrowing down the source of the error. If all goes well, we'll have a new
version released soon that fixes this issue as well as a couple others that
have been reported.

I will post a message here as soon as it is available.

Any changes to the serial routines? On my Tecra laptop I have to set
FIFO off or RX FIFO to minium(W98SE or W2K) to talk to the STAMP.
Part of the problem may be my laptop turns on/off the RS232 drivers
as needed. This causes a problem under W2K which scans the ports at
rest making the drivers go on/off and reseting the STAMP. I had to
put a swich in.
