Still tryin'' to get my laptop to program my BS2

Hi All
I can run both v1.1 & v1.2 from my desktop
running NT 4.0 with a standard serial port.
When I go on the road I need to use my Laptop.
The laptop has 2 USB ports, no standard serial ports
It came loaded with ME. [noparse]:([/noparse]
I have an adapter for my USB port.
It works great with my PDA, linking to other PC's,
using it as a terminal, etc.
Infact I can even pick up the serial trasmission
coming out of the BOE board that I use for
development.
My problem is both v1.1 and v1.2 do not recognize that
there is a stamp connected. I can get loopback and
echo to respond positively in v1.2 but it doesn't
identify the stamp. Any Ideas???
