Hey guys,
I program BS1s, BS2s, and some PICs. Our editor is an excellent old DOS
editor, Qedit. I never have problems programming, but what am I missing by
programming in DOS? Qedit has cut and paste, and Doskey streamlines
repetitive typing. Why use a Windows editor? I have never tried it, so I
can't compare.
Thanks in advance,
Ray McArthur

If you're a QEdit fan then I recommend the newer Semware Editor.
It's a 32-bit application that runs under windows, can use either
the Windows clipboard or the TSE clipboards but it retains all
the old familiar QEdit keyboard style commands, macro compiler,
etc.
http://www.semware.com/ has the details. I have not tried the
latest version yet but it even has "undo" features.
I use it for most of my embedded development whether it be for
Stamps, etc. because it gives me a consistent interface.
