TV Remote & BS2

I know this subject has been asked before, but I lost
the response so please forgive the repeat. Is there a
website that would help me interface a TV remote with
a BS2. I've purchased the IR reader from Radio Shack
and connected it to the BS2. The only website I found
was at Personal Robitics and the software listed there
stated it was for a Sony remote. I tried it, even
though I was using a RCA I had. I'm not getting
consistant "Debug" output. Any help would be
appreciated.
