Hi folks.... My name is Jim Martin and I live in Fort Wayne,
Indiana. I am just starting my first project utilizing a BS2-IC and
Visual Basic. I will be using the Stamp to control and monitor a
weather satellite receiver, with software running on the PC.
My first question of what I'm sure will be many...
I purchased a BS2-IC board of education starter kit from Radio
Shack, and when I received it, I was kinda shocked to find that
there was no Basic Stamp 2.0 manual included. I know about the .pdf
version at the Parallax site, and I have downloaded it. However, I
am from the old school and love to have a hardcopy manual when
working. The PDF version is a little to huge to printout on my
inkjet printer, so I would like to know if anyone has a versin 2.0
manual laying around that you would consider selling?
thanks...

You may be able to take and put the pdf on cd or disk, can't remember how
big it is off hand, and take it to your local Kinkos Copy center or other
such large printer. They should be able to print it out for you.

I know what you mean. I love the feel of a well-bound manual. This
may be too obvious, but you can purchase the manual ($49) from
Parallax:
http://www.parallaxinc.com/html_files/products/BS_Books/books_brief.asp
The Stampworks manual is a better deal for the same price, because
you get not only the version 2.0 manual but also the 30+ stampworks
experiments by Jon Williams. And Jon is a great guy!
