Hello,
Can I just pop out the eeprom chip (2K) on the BS2 (OEM from Parallax) and use
.... say a larger one? 8K, 16K etc? Or when/or if it wears out am I stuck with
the same as what's in there now?

>The chip, as provided, is required to be 2K, and must remain that way.
Memory can not be expanded. The next step in the Stamp series which HAS more
memory is effectively the BS-2SX. The BS-2SX is 8 x 2K bytes with each of the
8 segments individually programmable up to the 2K limit for a total programming
space of 16K (8 x 2).

it does run slower though.
