Enclosure?(Slightly OT)

Hello Everyone,

In the last year or so, Nuts & Volts had an article about a
digital depth gauge for recreational diving that used a clear, hinged,
watertight enclosure. Do any of you remember the manufacturer or web site
for that enclosure? I have been searching the web and the Nuts & Volts
site and haven't been able to find it this morning. I would be grateful to
anyone who could pull this from their gray matter.

I second that request. I have been working (slowly) on a personal project
that has to do with depth measurement and would love to find the same
    article....

If it helps, I promise I won't ask Tim for lemonade ever again (I know - not
made there.. but I couldn't resist)

    Chris,

I'll let you know if I find the article. Maybe I'm confusing my
magazines and read it in Circuit Cellar, I'll have to take a look there.

As far as the lemonade goes.... it's all good!

Thanks Steve - that was the article I was thinking of. Take a
look at it Chris, if your project is similar, it should be of some help.

The article you are thinking of may have been the one in the June
issue of Circuit Cellar. That used an Otter Box from
    www.otterbox.com.

    Regards,

    Steve.

    Hi Tim,
    Not lemonade, you say?

    Ah, yes, Dave Smith's DiveMate.
    Do you mean the otterbox?
    I think it's www.otterbox.com
Recall that he had some problems with the box collapsing at a fairly shallow
    depth.
I did my own version of his project and wound up making an enclosure from
    scratch.

I thought that the box was OK but the hose popped off the pressure
    sensor.

If you are also in the market for an underwater alert device, the Mini-
Hammerhead comes in one of the waterproof boxes. Well, my one
did but I've also seen them just stuck on cardboard.

    Steve.
