Hydraulics....

Hey everyone,

This post is kind of off topic but I was wondering if anyone could
point me to a good resource on the internet or otherwise that has some
good information about hydraulic systems. I am hoping to eventually
interface the stamp to some hydraulic valves and I think I have a
pretty good idea how to go about that with the experience I have so
far.

From what I've been exposed to, I've seen that there are some setups
with transducers inside the cylinders for position feedback and valves
which take a variable analog input to control the speed and direction
of the cylinder.

I'm hoping to learn more about the internal mechanical workings of
different types of hydraulic valves, cylinders, pumps, etc.
Troubleshooting techniques would be helpful also.

If anyone out there has some good resources to share I'd really
appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!
