One Wire EEPROM

Did Dallas purchase Maxim?

I'm looking for iButton information on the 64k EEPROM but can't
get www.ibutton.com (I'm assuming it's not a problem on the
campus). I want to use the EEPROM as a black box for the BS-
2P. The One Wire command looks simple enough, but without a
data sheet.....

Hi Paul,

Actually, Maxim bought Dallas Semi. - just go to www.maxim-ic.com and
you will find both Maxim and Dallas product lines.

Beats me -- the link you sent works fine from here. If you want I can
download the data sheet and email it to you. It does say the these are
products of Dallas Semiconductor / Maxim, and the copyright says Dallas
Semiconductor, so I would assume so.
