Realy dimming lamps

Try using the X-10 equipment without the power-strips. Some of these
have internal filter circuits that disrupt X-10 communications.

Plug the X-10 transmitter/receiver into a standard wall-socket, and see
if the problem clears up.

    >Hi Wally -

    Just a couple of thoughts:

Is the X-10 interface and at least one of the X-10 devices on the same pole
transformer ? An example of this NOT being the case would be if the X-10
    Interface
was in the house, and the X-10 unit was in a remote barn or shed.

Have you tried using this just with an ordinary X-10 Base Unit ? This would
remove the Stamp from the picture just to see if the X-10 System was
    functional.

The only other I thing I could imagine is - sometimes an X-10 "coupler" is
    needed.
This electrically ties the legs together, so that if one leg contains the X-10
Interface and the OTHER the X-10 Devices, the signal will still pass through.
If you need more information on this device, just ask.
