110V step motor control with basic stamp

is it possible to send pulses to a 110V step motor via
basic stamp ports without using an extra hardware. If
its necessary to use a hardware or its its impossible
to do it another way can you tell me how to do it and
sen the circuit scheme or something like that since 'm
pretty new to electrics & electronics. thanks for your helps
