Stamp Windows Software Problems

I'm having problems with the stampw.exe v1.1, every time I try to use the
debugger it crashes. What's odd is I also have the stampw.exe v1.04 it never
crashes... it works fine, debugger and all. I'm running Windows 2000 Prof. Any
suggestions to why the debugger would cause it to crash? Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris Shuster

This is a known error that is corrected in version 1.2 that should be
released in about a week or so.

I asked about this over a year ago, it seems like anyway...
just asking...I'd like to start using stamps again...

incredible struggles with MS API calls as the vary form OS to OS -- go
figure. Anyway, the dog days are behind us now and we should be releasing
the new compiler (version 1.2) this week or next -- pending final testing.
* Fixes DEBUG issues with Win2K
* Supports external editors / tools (e.g., I personally use EditPlus to edit
my PBASIC files and call our compiler from it). Note: The DEBUG window(s)
still work when using external compiler control.
* Online help (highlight a keyword, then press [F1] and it takes you right to
the information you need) and "Tip of the Day" dialog.
* Creates Object files and a separate downloader so you can send updates
without revealing your source. It can also create a stand-alone program that
contains your object and the downloader. Send this file to a client and have
them run it to update their project. Neat and easy.
What's next? We're porting our compiler (the portion that actually converts
PBASIC source to tokens) from 80x86 assembly language to C. We will license
this to developers so that native PBASIC tools for Mac, Linux and other
operating systems become possible. Stay tuned.
