Any updates on the J-Stamp?

Does anyone have the latest in formation on the J-Stamp? I know that
it is scheduled for release in Q3 (by the end of September) but I am
anxious. :)

Is its' release still on schedule?
Will there be accompanying documentation to help me learn Java, or
do I need to do that separately?
Has a target price been announced?

Thanks,
Phil

    Phil,

The latest release date is mid November.

The accompanying documentation is Written by Al Williams, and you can use it
to learn how to develop Javelin Stamp (formerly J-Stamp) applications even
if you have no previous Java programming experience.

The target price is under $100 for the module, and it can be used on any of
our current carrier boards. We've done quite a few things to bring the
price down, and I'll be able to give you a better price estimate in about 3
weeks. Your name has been added to my e-mail list, and you'll be hearing
more from me as the release date gets closer.

    Regards,

    Andy
