Maximum Count rate.

Hi,
The parallax web site instruction set listing shows a count function that
has a maximum count rate of 125kHz with a 50% duty cycle.
I haven't looked any deeper into the website at this stage, and I'm
wondering if anyone could either point me to the right information or let
me know what it is.
I'm wondering if that is an arbitrary limit, or the actual limitation of
the hardware. I need at rate of at least 200kHz, preferably more.
Is that possible with any of the STAMP modules?
Thank you,
Luke.

The BS2sx and BS2p both exceed your specs. The BS2p is faster, draws less
current and has more features (1-Wire, I2C, LCD, etc) than the BS2sx, but
either will work for you.
