wireless keyboard encoding

Hello All.

I'm trying to make a custom wireless interface for a video game I'm
making. I'm familiar with using a keyboard encoder, but I wouldn't
know how to make one wireless. Does anyone know of a company that
sells wireless keyboard encoders, or can point me to somewhere for
modifying a non wireless one?

Thanks

Mark

I saw a 15 channel IR Xmtr/Rcvr kit for a couple of bucks in the MCM
catalog (Velleman Kit) . That may be what you're looking for. If
you're just looking to read a few switch closures, and IR
communication will suffice, you can do this dirt cheap using a
minimum of parts using the Holtek HT-12a encoder and the HT-12D
decoder. These are both in the ratshak catalog for less than 2 bucksa
piece. http://www.holtek.com for datasheet and appnotes...

We have the Fire-Stick III that turns a 12-key matrix keypad
into an IR transmitter. Very easy to use for remote data entry
    with the Stamp also.
