for stujo

This is easily done with Hyperterminal. You can capture the text as it
appears on the screen and send it to any file in any directory that can
handle a text file.

Also, if for some reason HyperTerminal does not do what you want it to, I
can send you a copy of the program I wrote for some others which can do
    whatever you want it to.

Obviously this is a common thing for people to need to do with stamp
projects. I have had many people ask me for this app.

This has brought up a question I have been rolling around with for a little
while. Can I use C++ to transfer data from my project to my pc? Obviously
I don't know much about C++ but it is on my list of things to learn. I don't
want to spend the time right now if it won't work on this current project.

My initial goal is to transfer some data to a text file on my pc, either
overwrite the file or append it to it. If there is a cheaper, easier way to
    do this please advise.

    Thanks,
    stujo
