Hello, Ever since I first got my Basic Stamp 2 SX back in mid june
I've been wondering about this but never said or did anything about
it because the functionality of the stamp seemed to be okay. I just
wanted to check up on this though. On the Scenix 28AC/SS chip, pins
1 and 2 are soldered together, as well as pins 3 and 4. I looked up
the datasheet, and it looks like RTCC (real time clock) is connected
to ground, and the 2 VDD's are connected together. I'd like to know
if anyone else has pins soldered together on their Stamp SX's, and
if this would have any effect on functionality that I haven't yet
discovered?
Thanks!
