Synop rev.D - stamp expansion board

Hi everyone,
Our basic stamp expansion board has been revised and now also uses SX18 mcu.

This board is due to be manufactured. 10-25 boards presumably. 8-23 boards
will be available for about US$ 25-30 each (empty pcb only at this time).
You will have to do your own soldering
after getting the parts. Full parts list and schematics will be provided.
The board uses SX18 (or PIC) as I2C slave devices that control all of the
I/O.
Besides sharing an I2C bus the SX18 are daisychained linked to form a ring.
I opened a yahoogroup (synop) for a discussion on how best to implement both
ring and I2C slave software and some software uarts..
Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/synop if you like to join and
participate.
I really like to invite some SX18 assembly specialists as the implentation
will
problably be done in assembly.
The delivery time for the boards will be 4-8 weeks (due to vacation time).
The boards will go on a first come, first serve base. (max. of 1 board
if the number of requests exceed the number of boards).
