This functions could be easyly done today with a PNI Vector2X compass
module and one ADXL202 2 axis accelerometer(as tilt meter) chip and a
PIC or a Stamp. Virtual I-O 3d glasses had a similar module - a head
tracker add on.(expensive at that time ~ $400?) Check ebay for
bargains.

    Hi Stampers,

    here is my latest question:

I just disassembled an old cyberhelmet, (about 1994) and found the perfect
    cyber-to-stamp-module:
An old CYBERMAXX TRACKING MODULE by VICTORMAXX TECHNOLOGIES.
It senses tilt in two axis and turning in degrees and puts out all it
measures very neatly in rs 232 code so you can directly connect it to your
    stamp.
I NEED more of those! Unfortunately victormaxx and cybermaxx seem to be
    dead.

Does anyone know where I can still get it or who sells something similar?

Thanx a lot for your help, have a nice day,

    Uli
