Okay, so i played around with my BS2sx and could send cool stuff to
the sx and make it do stuff from my pc (not just using the parallax
softwar, but using my own). Now from what i have read, the commands
and settings should be the exact same (as far as Serin pin,
baud,....yada yada yada), however i can't get a damn thing to work
right! I don't get good serial communication!!! Are there other
settings that i don't know about???

Works on my BS2sx:
Serin 16, 16624,20,rtn, [WAIT ("**"),str hostBuf\3]
Dosen't on my BS2p40
Serin 16, 16624,20,rtn, [WAIT ("**"),str hostBuf\3]

any ideas?

You did switch to the proper pins, right? Mainio or Auxio if I remember
    right.
