QBASIC - to - BASIC STAMP II communication

i need some help!!! i want my basic stamp 2 to send and receave data
with the Qbasic software editer. is there some way of using serin
and serout and inp and out. or is there a different way of doing
this. any info would help a lot. thanks.

    In our BASIC Stamp book(ISBN 0750672455) there is such an example.
    If decide to buy the book, we are happy ;-)
