Follow-up:R/C Tramsmitter & Video

Just to follow-up on trying to get a remote camera and
video to work with an Radio Control system. I changed
the wiring between the camera and the transmitter
board. The video signal is now through a RCA cable
and the power for the camera is through a coaxial
cable. Both cables external shielding are tied
together. Power for the camera, which was tied into
the cable between the camera and the board is now tied
directly to the board. Result, sucess!! I'm now able
to control the "track" vehicle via the R/C tranmitter
by watching the tv monitor. I am able to control the
vehicle with it completely out of line-of-sight.
Thanks to all for the wealth of help.

I haven't been following this thread but it sounds very interesting. What
kind of vehicle is it? I fly R/C airplanes and have, for 40 years, been
interested in all types of radio control of models and non-models.
The vehicle is a very "crude" tracked vehicle using 4
Canon dc motors, with gearboxes, mounted on an
aluminum and wood frame. The motors are controled by
a BS2 connected to 2 h-bridges. The whole point of
this exercise was to see the interaction of the R/C
system to the BS2. I'm putting together a HEXABOT and
one of the goals is to have it remote controlled with
the camera for a "cheap" telepresence system.
