I finally made another video clip of night writing heli blades

Marginally better than the first video clip. I finally figured out how to
compress the file size.
I also had a computer crash with poor backups. So I had to re-write part of the
software. Luckily the cg font storing program
was fine. However, I did take this opportunity to make a nice looking
"starburst" that the blades display. The computer on the blade still displays
"RAPTOR", then the actual "RPM" then the new grapics then the elapsed time since
blade computer on (then go back to top of display sequence).
Now I see that my camera is junk and that my video input card is ancient. Is
there anyone around Austin, Tx than will let me borrow a low light level
camcorder for a few minutes - (better yet come over and do the video for me). I
see these new cameras advertized as "0 lux" bla, bla, bla, yadda, yadda, yadda.
My old camcorder's low light cabability is on a competely different scale (
1/10, 1/5, 1/3, etc. intensity of the sun)
well I hope to do a better video in the next couple of weeks
