Hi Neal,

1024 in/outs is a bit too much for a stamp if you consider that normally
input and output values are also
stored in memory. 1024 in/outs already would require 128 bytes. I do have
however a stamp expansion
board that provides 80 digital I/O among 4 serial ports and some other
features.

Checkout http://www.boselectro.nl/besturingen.html

The reseller prices for these boards are:
Just pcb US$ 21
Socket board US$ 105
Full board US$ 191
Shipping US$ 30 per order

I am still 25 board orders short to get them manufactured.
People that are interested can still sign in.
Send an email to peterverkaik@b... and specify empty, socket or
full

Greetings peter

After questioning how to add a few more inputs or output pins to the
Stamp, I've been steered towards slave ICs that increase the I/O
pins...some for example allowing up to 1024 extra pins.

I'm just curious, has anybody ever made or even SEEN a Stamp circuit
with 1,024 inputs/outputs?
16,384?
65,536?!

Cheers,
-Neal
