Hi Newzed and Neal,
It just occurred to me you both could use the serial LCD+ display
Take a look at http://www.basicx.com/lcd+/LCD+overview.htm
Features of the display:
High quality 4 x 20 Backlit Super Twist LCD Display
8 10-Bit Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) -> for Newzed if 10 bit
resolution is enough
8 High Current Relay Driver Outputs (500mA Each) -> for Neal SSR
4 x 4 Matrix Keypad Interface (or 8 digital inputs) -> for Neal switches
256 Backlight and contrast levels
Frequency definable Buzzer
8 User Definable Characters
2400 - 57,600 Baud Data rate -> uses 2 stamp I/O lines with SERIN and SEROUT
commands
Built-in Voltage Regulator allows 5 - 15 Volt operation
If not to costly this may be a solution for the both of you.
Greetings peter
