Comm programm

I understand that tsis is not exactly about stamps but you are the
smartest people around ;-). I need a comm programm that could connect
to a device (specifically Apple//e) on the COM1 port, at 300baud,
N81, and would feed CRs to it (NOT CRLF), i.e. strip linefeeds. I
need just plain text no fancy Xmodems.

You might look at Procomm by symantec. They used to have this on dos
as a shareware program and it was the best I found for connecting
through a com port. The windows versions are pretty good also, but
you have to buy it now (about $130).

You could also try using the hyperterminal program that comes with
windows. It is pretty basic, but it should talk to standard com
    ports.

    Hope this helps

You can also poke around for ham radio freeware that is used for packet and
other digital modes to control a radio modem.
Start looking at these 3 sites and you can go from there.
