minutes to terre haute from here across 70. Not a lot
of robot building but doing some GPS guidance of r/c
trucks and this coming fall is a GPS guided r/c
airplane. Truck information at www.stoneflyers.com.
Nope, I'm not in Indiana either, but I am building robots (bs2, bs2sx, sx28,
beam, etc) in Columbus, Ohio. And I'm
looking for people near me, too... so far I haven't found anybody. I wish there
was some national list of robotics
clubs...
So are there any robot builders in central Ohio?

With Ohio State in your city, you might contact the School of Engineering to
see what robotics research labs exist there. If you venture toward
Pittsburgh, I was formerly affiliated with Carnegie-Mellon, and can also
recommend their Robotics Institute for some cutting edge research topics.
Multi-legged walking robots were a hot topic when I was there.
