TO DERRYCK and KLAUS,

Guys, what's up with the attitude here?
How old are you guys?
Has your moms not taught you any manners?
You guys act like it is his job to help everyone under the sun,
even oddballs running non-pc computers just because it makes them feel
smarter to be different.
Then you expect everybody else to keep you in mind.
If you want to be compatible with everybody else then run what everybody
else is running.
Otherwise be quite and live with the fact that the majority of the
population is running something different and from time to time you may not
be compatible.

Sorry for being rude here, I really don't mean to be.
I let one negative comment go by, but I couldn't stand to read another one
without saying something.
I do understand what you are saying so don't get me wrong.
I just think there are much better ways of handling it.
If you were really interested in the bmp but needed it in a different format
you could have said something like:
"Hey Alberto, could you send me a copy of the bmp in this format, I am
running this ?#!>~ machine and I can not read the bmp you posted."
This would have gotten the same message across but in a positive manner.
Please be considerate of people spending their time to help others.

Please do not respond to the basicstamp email. This group should not be used
to discuss this type of issue.
If you have anything else to say send it directly to me.

Wayne Fulcher

Agreed!

It wasn't even in a format that everyone could read either. Believe it or
not, not everyone in the World uses a PC!

Wayne, ... a little out off topic....!!

only one short public reply for that to this list seems to be needed:

with my hint from 06/28/01 "RE: Switch Matrixs", to compress a attached
24 bit-color-BMP-file of a little scheme to less than 1 percent with common
used easy methods, I tried to give a help for making the things better in
    list - communication.

Sorry for Your misunderstanding,- and style of Your long message.
With some of Your expressions my library strikes....
    Regards Klaus Zahnert

Exactly. Taking the trouble to convert to a common format like GIF not only
leads to a smaller download (we English have to pay for phone calls!), but
also to the possibility of more people being able to see the diagram and
    comment upon it.
