Basic Stamp or PC?

[font=arial,helvetica]I am in need of some advice. ·I am interested in automating a machine I made
and am confused as to what type of controller would be easier to use, a
direct PC interface or a Basic Stamp. ·The controller needs to have a display
(LCD or otherwise) and a keypad (to quickly change data values). ·It also
needs to control more than 3 motors via relays and at least 3 other touch
sensors. ·Mobility is not an issue. ·Which do you think is a good idea?
