HAs anyone used the analog devices adxl202 chip with a bs2.

I have mine up and running but would like some help in eliminating the chip from reading vibration and just get it to read tilt angle.

Dos anyone have any ideas

    Try to use a lager filter capacitor (~ 2uf), and implement a software
    averaging.

    Low-pass filtering the output signal is the only method of eliminating vibration to read tilt angle by using a single sensor.· This works well provided that the tilt angle doesn't rapidly change, and you can allow some time to let it settle.· You could try varying the LP cutoff frequency by using a simple passive RC filter, with R in series with the output.· When you find a usable cutoff frequency, use a higher-order active LP filter chip in place of the RC filter· to·reduce the vibration noise even further.· Digital filtering would also be a good method, but the BS2 might·not be adequate for it.
